Software Engineer – AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Identify new audio data sources and establish reliable pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems with a focus on data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and support the development of next-generation models.

• Take charge of engineering projects from the initial problem identification to implementation and ongoing improvements.

• Create data pipelines that drive model training and future AI products.

• Merge engineering, infrastructure, and research to create high-quality datasets at a petabyte scale while maintaining low costs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, demonstrating strong backend development skills.

• Expertise in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Previous experience in building and maintaining production systems, preferably involving data pipelines or extensive data processing.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities, initiative, and the ability to work independently in uncertain situations.
