Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Identify new audio data sources and establish dependable pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and facilitate the development of next-generation models.

• Manage engineering projects from initial problem identification through implementation and ongoing optimization.

• Create high-quality datasets at a petabyte scale and minimal cost by merging engineering, infrastructure, and research.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a solid foundation in backend development.

• Expertise in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in developing and maintaining production systems, preferably those that include data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, proactive approach, and capacity to work independently in uncertain situations.
