Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Identify new sources of audio data and establish dependable pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and facilitate the development of next-generation models.

• Take ownership of engineering projects from the identification of problems through to implementation and ongoing enhancements.

• Create high-quality datasets at a petabyte scale and minimal cost by integrating engineering, infrastructure, and research.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, demonstrating strong backend development skills.

• Expertise in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and maintaining production systems, preferably related to data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and the capacity to work independently in ambiguous situations.
