Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Identify new audio data sources and establish dependable pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, prioritizing data quality, throughput, and cost-efficiency.

• Work collaboratively with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and assist in the development of next-generation models.

• Take ownership of engineering projects from the initial problem identification through to implementation and ongoing enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, demonstrating strong backend development skills.

• Expertise in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Proven experience in building and managing production systems, preferably involving data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Familiarity with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data-processing systems is a plus.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, especially with GCP and Terraform, is advantageous.

• Knowledge of ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing is desirable.
