Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Identify innovative sources of audio data and establish dependable pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost-effectiveness.

• Collaborate closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and assist in the development of next-generation models.

• Manage engineering projects from problem identification through execution and ongoing enhancement.

• Create data pipelines that support model training and the next generation of AI products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong foundation in backend development.

• Expertise in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining production systems, particularly those involving data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, proactive approach, and capacity to work independently in uncertain environments.

• Familiarity with web crawlers, data acquisition techniques, or distributed data-processing systems.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, especially using GCP and Terraform.

• Understanding of ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing.
