Software Engineer – AI Code

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Take complete responsibility for the delivery of features and projects: encompassing design, implementation, deployment, and client interactions.

• Collaborate with senior engineers on intricate builds, while independently managing significant components.

• Develop production-level AI workflows: including RAG components, integrations across cloud platforms, and agentic automation.

• Evaluate pull requests submitted by associate engineers.

• Create design documentation utilized by the team; actively participate in architectural discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience delivering production code with complete ownership of features.

• Proficiency across the full-stack spectrum of modern web technologies (TypeScript, React, Next.js) and a backend language (Python or Node), alongside familiarity with relational databases and a cloud platform (we utilize GCP).

• Practical knowledge of Claude Code or similar agentic engineering tools — applied daily in real-world tasks, with the discernment to guide AI on complex tasks and recognize inaccuracies in its outputs.

• Excellent asynchronous written communication skills: including PR descriptions, design documentation, and code reviews.

• Comfortable engaging directly with clients: during standups, demos, and scoping discussions.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Hands-on experience with Vertex AI, Gemini, or the Claude / Anthropic API.

• In-depth knowledge of specific GCP services (Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Vertex AI, IAM).

• Experience with agentic workflow tools, MCP servers, or RAG systems in a production environment.

• Contributions to open-source projects or production-level side projects.
