This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
β’ Offer technical direction and oversight on the design, architecture, and upkeep of secure software solutions provided by development partners.
β’ Govern the implementation of DevSecOps, ensuring that automated security testing, code scanning, and vulnerability management are seamlessly integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
β’ Guide agile teams in converting high-level government requirements into technical designs and user stories.
β’ Assess and review automated build, test, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning strategies.
β’ Utilize systems engineering principles to analyze requirements, assess architecture feasibility, and advise government stakeholders on technical risks and tool selection.
β’ Review and enhance architecture diagrams, system specifications, and high-level technical documentation.
β’ Act as a technical liaison among government lead engineers, users, stakeholders, and development teams.
β’ Engage in agile ceremonies and spearhead continuous improvements in DevSecOps processes.
β’ Must be a US citizen.
β’ Must have and maintain a Secret clearance.
β’ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
β’ At least 15 years of pertinent experience.
β’ Minimum of 5 years supporting the Department of Defense (DoD).
β’ Extensive knowledge and practical experience throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
β’ Strong expertise in software design with an emphasis on secure development practices.
β’ Proficiency in Python is preferred.
β’ Deep understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
β’ Skilled in DevSecOps tools and practices, particularly CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and security integration.
β’ Experience with GitLab is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with infrastructure as code, containerization, and cloud security practices.
β’ Proven track record in supporting Department of Defense software development projects.
β’ Knowledge of government compliance requirements and security frameworks.
β’ Experience in classified environments and managing sensitive information.
β’ Current CSSLP or equivalent certification is preferred.
β’ A Master's degree is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years supporting the DoD is preferred.
