Software Engineer 5 – iOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop engaging, efficient, and accessible consumer-oriented experiences for the Netflix iOS application.

• Utilize Swift for client-side programming and GraphQL for data retrieval.

• Create code that is maintainable and durable over time.

• Establish effective automation and documentation to enhance team knowledge sharing.

• Collaborate strategically with product management to define project scopes.

• Work alongside designers to fine-tune UI specifications.

• Collaborate with engineering teams on shared infrastructure initiatives.

• Assess business, product, and architectural trade-offs during software design.

• Contribute to the Member Experience Client Foundations or Ads teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience at a Senior Software Engineer level.

• Proven track record in developing consumer-facing iOS applications using Swift.

• Familiarity with GraphQL for data access.

• Capability to write maintainable, robust, and scalable code.

• Experience in automation and documentation practices.

• Ability to work collaboratively with product management, designers, and engineering teams.

• Skill in evaluating business, product, and architectural trade-offs.

• Proactive in problem-solving and seeking feedback.
