Software Development Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain essential web components of the unified SDK utilizing JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Design and implement protective measures against digital threats, automation, and manipulation of runtime environments.

• Create solutions to identify headless browsers, virtual environments, emulators, and tools for digital fraud.

• Ensure secure communication among web components, native SDKs, and backend services.

• Implement integrity controls and validation mechanisms for data collected by the SDK.

• Develop telemetry, metrics, logs, and observability features for ongoing platform monitoring.

• Conduct performance evaluations and enhance the capture experience across various browsers and devices.

• Engage in defining architecture, development standards, and security strategies for client-side applications.

• Conduct code reviews and offer technical support to development teams in embracing engineering best practices.

• Investigate vulnerabilities and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of fraud and abuse prevention strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Strong experience in developing web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Advanced understanding of the architecture and functioning of modern browsers.

• Experience with contemporary front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Familiarity with web application security concepts, including OWASP Top 10, CSP, CORS, XSS, CSRF, and secure authentication methods.

• Experience with WebAuthn, device fingerprinting, and client-side protection strategies.

• Knowledge of detecting browser automation, virtualized environments, emulators, and scraping tools.

• Experience in integrating web applications with native mobile or desktop SDKs.

• Understanding of REST APIs, secure communication protocols, and applied cryptography.

• Experience with observability, monitoring, and log analysis tools.

• Experience working within agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
