Software Development Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold essential microservices that handle and correlate signals related to security, fraud, and SDK integrity.

• Establish trust assessment frameworks based on indicators of device compromise, session integrity, and detection of digital injections.

• Design and create scalable solutions utilizing Go, emphasizing high performance and concurrent processing.

• Guarantee service reliability, availability, and observability through comprehensive metrics, logs, traces, and continuous monitoring.

• Engage in defining and advancing the architecture of microservices and system integration standards.

• Create secure and efficient APIs for communication between SDKs, fraud prevention systems, and enterprise services.

• Implement security measures pertaining to authentication, authorization, encryption, and channel protection.

• Investigate and address incidents related to fraud, security, and platform stability.

• Take part in CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and production environment support protocols.

• Contribute to code evaluations, defining best practices, and enhancing the technical quality of engineering.

• Help in the development and progression of the unified SDK backend core, converting raw data into actionable insights and issuing trust evaluations.

• Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Platform, and Engineering teams to satisfy performance, availability, and threat protection demands.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience in developing backend applications with Go (Golang).

• Advanced understanding of concurrent programming, parallelism, and performance enhancement.

• Familiarity with distributed microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of inter-service communication via REST APIs, gRPC, and messaging protocols.

• Experience in observability, monitoring, centralized logging, and distributed tracing.

• Understanding of containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.

• Knowledge of backend application security, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and API protection.

• Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases.

• Experience in high availability environments with significant processing demands.

• Preferred qualifications: experience in fraud prevention, digital identity, or authentication products; knowledge of device fingerprinting and device compromise detection; experience with real-time event processing; familiarity with event-driven architectures; experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms; understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE); experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP); knowledge of behavioral analysis, transaction fraud, or risk decision engines; experience with DevSecOps methodologies.
