Software Development Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality production code for various client projects.

• Perform code reviews and address intricate architectural challenges.

• Set, document, and uphold contemporary engineering standards for ReactJS, NodeJS, and AWS cloud-native systems.

• Engage in the Product Development Standards Committee.

• Establish best practices for CI/CD, testing, security, and observability.

• Carry out regular project audits to ensure compliance.

• Create and maintain boilerplate repositories, reference architectures, and shared UI/backend components.

• Promote AI adoption among delivery teams utilizing approved tool registries.

• Detect technical friction points and design reusable solutions.

• Develop and implement developer training programs.

• Facilitate company-wide Leadership Labs.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, DevOps, and QA leads to ensure technical solutions align with product goals and business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of practical software engineering experience with a proven history of establishing technical standards across multiple delivery teams.

• Advanced expertise in ReactJS, NodeJS (APIs, asynchronous systems), and AWS cloud-native architectures.

• Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority, mentor senior engineers, and articulate complex technical trade-offs to stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience).

• Active AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect or Developer) are highly preferred.
