Software Development Engineer – Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop mobile application features for both iOS and Android based on architectural and design specifications.

• Ensure that features fulfill functional and performance criteria.

• Collaborate with senior developers to uphold mobile CI/CD workflows and assist in the build processes.

• Support app submissions to various app stores.

• Oversee production features assigned to you.

• Investigate and resolve crashes or performance issues under the guidance of senior team members.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend development teams.

• Share insights from mobile projects with colleagues, including experiences with AI-assisted development, testing automation, and code optimization.

• Engage in discussions regarding mobile architecture and propose enhancements to navigation flows or state management.

• Evaluate and provide feedback on mobile tools, libraries, and AI-assisted coding solutions.

• Enhance testing, debugging, AI-assisted refactoring, and deployment processes.

• Report directly to the Engineering Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in mobile development using React Native.

• Experience with RESTful API integration.

• Familiarity with the app store submission process.

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Capable of creating responsive, high-quality, and pixel-perfect user interfaces from design specifications.

• Knowledge of navigation frameworks such as React Navigation.

• Experience with AI tools and productivity optimization is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools for code generation and bug fixing is a bonus.

• Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.
