Software Development Engineer in Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop a testing strategy and automate processes for cutting-edge API-driven security and threat protection solutions.

• Take ownership of test execution and automation initiatives.

• Discover and implement tools that align with testing objectives.

• Collaborate with engineering teams in an Agile setting on code, design, test plans, and reviews of automation frameworks.

• Work closely with development teams to refine new releases and improve testing methodologies.

• Coordinate and engage in customer installations and team demonstrations.

• Identify problems, enhance test coverage, and boost product reliability and performance.

• Participate in the ongoing enhancement of testing processes and the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Proficiency in test automation using Python, GoLang, and shell scripting techniques.

• Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix environment.

• Strong knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and HTTPS.

• Expertise in REST APIs, databases, and SQL.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
