Software Development Engineer in Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute the complete QA process for software releases, which includes gathering specifications, creating test plans, automating tests, and conducting both automated and manual testing.

• Develop and implement innovative strategies and methodologies to enhance testing productivity and effectiveness.

• Engage in requirements collection, feature and functional testing, regression testing, load testing, and performance testing.

• Design and create testing tools, including scripting to improve regression testing.

• Uphold quality standards and establish integration and system tests, both manual and automated, as a member of a scrum team.

• Conduct testing for the Akamai Data Warehouse.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant experience along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Extensive QA testing experience.

• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, shell script, and SQL.

• Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, particularly HTTP, HTTPS, and DNS.

• Experience in testing backend distributed systems.

• Some familiarity with Kubernetes.
