Software Development Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate several software development teams to ensure alignment with the organization's KPIs and strategic goals.

• Provide ethical and consistent leadership, promoting team autonomy, trust, development, and high performance.

• Conduct one-on-one meetings, monitor performance and engagement, and support development plans, career advancement, and mentoring initiatives.

• Monitor and work to reduce production failure rates by enhancing processes, quality assurance, reviews, testing, and risk management.

• Manage bugs, rework, and internal quality, encouraging root cause analysis and ongoing improvement across products and engineering.

• Anticipate and manage technical, scope, and capacity risks by utilizing project metrics and historical data to support proactive decision-making.

• Lead tactical team planning, ensuring clear scope definition, prioritization, demand allocation, and alignment with delivery capacity.

• Track engineering, quality, productivity, predictability, and stability metrics, using data to guide decision-making.

• Propel the ongoing evolution of processes, engineering practices, and the technical maturity of teams.

• Strong knowledge of unit, integration, and functional testing strategies.

• Familiarity with version control and code review processes.

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, as well as build and deployment automation.

• Knowledge of engineering metrics and indicators concerning quality, productivity, predictability, and failure rates.

• Practical experience with Jira and Confluence.

• Familiarity with Git and collaboration platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.

• Understanding of system observability and monitoring tools.

• Experience in creating dashboards to visualize and analyze operational metrics.

• Strategic analysis and productivity enhancements through artificial intelligence.

• Clear and assertive communication skills, alongside strong negotiation abilities.
