Software Developer – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain full-stack functionalities, encompassing web applications using React, mobile applications in React Native (for both iOS and Android), and backend services built with Python/Django.

• Design and execute well-organized, documented, and tested REST APIs.

• Create dependable solutions for scenarios with limited connectivity.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and QA to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Produce clean, scalable, and maintainable code that is backed by solid test coverage.

• Engage in architectural decisions and the design of new features and systems.

• Assist the team through code reviews, pair programming, and the sharing of knowledge.

• Participate in the support rotation to address incidents and production issues.

• Contribute to the enhancement of processes, tools, and development workflows.

• Advocate for quality, thorough documentation, and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software development.

• Strong expertise in Python and the creation of services and APIs.

• Experience with Django or similar Python web frameworks.

• Proficiency in developing web applications utilizing React.

• Experience with React Native for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and contemporary development practices.

• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

• Proficient in English.

• Possession of a postgraduate degree or Master’s degree.

• Desirable: experience with offline-first approaches, Django REST Framework, AWS, cloud infrastructure, feature flags, AI agents, solutions for the construction industry or field operations, as well as mentoring or technical leadership, and mobile performance optimization.
