This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Design, test, debug, and maintain both new and existing applications in alignment with established standards and business requirements.
• Create scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications utilizing Python and AWS services.
• Assist in the formulation and execution of test plans to ensure high code quality.
• Generate and update technical documentation, which includes design specifications and implementation details.
• Work collaboratively with senior developers and cross-functional teams to deliver features punctually.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute to the continuous enhancement of code quality.
• Acquire knowledge of PCI compliance and relevant industry standards, applying them during development.
• Aid in the analysis and documentation of comprehensive software requirements.
• Execute basic tasks under general supervision.
• Undertake more complex assignments under close supervision and guidance.
• B.S. or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience with Python and related frameworks.
• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• CPI is currently unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa.

• Familiarity with Python frameworks like Django and FastAPI.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization practices.
• Basic experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway, or DynamoDB.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Exposure to object-oriented design and SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative development methodologies.
• Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.
• Interest in secure coding practices and data protection standards, including PCI.
