Software Developer – Product Configuration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain customized features, scripts, and integrations for the Experlogix and V6 product configuration platforms.

• Design, construct, and utilize RESTful APIs and other web services to integrate configurators with ERP systems and in-house solutions.

• Implement HTML/JavaScript-based user interface components and client-side customizations for product configuration workflows.

• Write C#/.NET code for back-end services, extensions, and integration components.

• Create SQL queries and stored procedures while troubleshooting configuration and integration data issues using MS SQL Server/Azure SQL.

• Utilize Azure or comparable cloud services for hosting, integration, automation, and scalability.

• Monitor logs, manage incidents, conduct root-cause analyses, and coordinate remediation efforts across teams and vendors.

• Collaborate with vendors to report defects, validate solutions, test patches in non-production settings, and deploy fixes.

• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and execute configuration or code modifications.

• Develop and maintain technical design documentation and runbooks.

• Engage in release activities, coordinate with infrastructure, DBA, and security teams, while adhering to SDLC and CI/CD protocols.

• Identify ways to enhance reliability, automate deployments, and improve operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field (or equivalent experience) is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in developing, supporting, or implementing enterprise applications, CPQ/configurator solutions, or ERP integrations.

• Practical development experience in .Net, C#, JavaScript, and HTML.

• Experience in designing and building SOAP or RESTful APIs and consuming web services.

• Demonstrated proficiency with MS SQL Server/Azure SQL, including writing T-SQL and troubleshooting data flows.

• Familiarity with cloud concepts and experience with Azure services or similar cloud platforms.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a knack for determining root causes from logs and code.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (AX/365) or other ERP systems and integration patterns such as OData, DMF, and SOAP.

• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation and operational tasks.

• Familiarity with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.

• Ability to convert business requirements into technical requirements.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members globally.

• Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders, technology teams, external suppliers, consultants, and service providers.

• Exceptional administrative and organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
