Software Developer II – .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications or systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient and reliable software solutions.

• Debug and resolve software issues with guidance.

• Engage in root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

• Participate in sprint ceremonies, estimations, and team design discussions.

• Communicate progress, risks, and obstacles promptly.

• Work alongside support and implementation teams to investigate and address application issues in lower environments and production.

• Adhere to team runbooks and escalation procedures.

• Collaborate with senior and lead engineers for code reviews, secure coding practices, performance, and maintainability.

• Learn and apply professional engineering principles while enhancing ownership and independence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of software development experience.

• Strong practical experience with .NET Core, C#, Angular, JavaScript, Azure DevOps, and SQL Server database.

• Proficient in C#/.NET and in building services and APIs.

• Familiarity with MS SQL Server or equivalent RDBMS and basic query tuning.

• Experience with REST APIs and JSON.

• Knowledge of IIS/ASP.NET is a plus.

• Understanding of version control (Git), code reviews, and CI/CD concepts.

• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and test-driven development practices.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), observability fundamentals, performance tuning, or AI tools such as Cursor AI is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team setting.
