Software Developer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software and services.

• Contribute to the creation of scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications and platforms.

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code while adhering to engineering best practices.

• Engage in code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across various applications and services.

• Contribute to enhancing system performance, scalability, reliability, and observability.

• Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and the ongoing improvement of software and engineering practices.

• Utilize modern development, cloud, and DevOps tools and methodologies, including automated testing and CI/CD.

• Continuously enhance technical knowledge and contribute innovative ideas that improve products, technology, and workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in developing and maintaining software applications or services.

• Strong programming abilities in one or more contemporary programming languages.

• Proven experience in building scalable and maintainable software.

• Familiarity with APIs, databases, and distributed or cloud-based systems.

• Understanding of software engineering principles, including testing, debugging, and code quality.

• Experience with version control systems and modern software development practices.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.

• A proactive approach and eagerness to learn new technologies and methods.

• Nice to have: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or similar.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization, and DevOps practices.

• Nice to have: Experience in developing high-volume, distributed, or highly scalable systems.
