Software Developer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, troubleshoot, and deploy applications that align with business and research requirements.

• Engage in backend and full-stack development utilizing .NET technologies.

• Facilitate secure data management, SQL Server-based data integration, and API connections with REDCap and other enterprise systems.

• Enhance, maintain, and modify existing applications and the codebase.

• Assist in research workflows and clinical operations.

• Aid in application upgrades, security patches, testing, and Azure cloud migration initiatives.

• Collaborate with systems analysts, research personnel, physician subject matter experts, and technical team members.

• Conduct coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development life cycle.

• Adhere to SDLC best practices, templates, and source control measures.

• Participate in story writing, estimation, and backlog refinement meetings.

• Contribute to projects and applications within an agile development framework.

• Provide solutions and deliverables as part of an agile squad.

• Complete assigned tasks within the defined time estimates.

• Offer after-hours support for critical issues as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED with two years of experience in developing ASP.NET, VB.NET, and/or C# applications OR an Associate’s degree with one year of experience in developing ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL, and/or C# applications OR a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

• Fundamental understanding of database and application services.

• Experience working with Epic on FHIR / HL7 standards.

• Familiarity with Clarity integrations.

• Previous experience in EMR and medical informatics or coding.

• Experience in healthcare environments.

• Knowledge of healthcare workflows.

• ITIL Foundations certification is preferred for caregivers in the Information Technology Division.

• Capability to perform tasks while in a stationary position for prolonged periods.

• Willingness to travel within the hospital system.

• Proficiency in operating a computer and other office equipment.

• Ability to communicate effectively and exchange accurate information.

• Must reside in Ohio or Florida.

• Must adhere to the annual influenza prevention program or obtain an approved exemption.

• Completion of pre-employment controlled-substance testing.
