Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain applications based on microservices utilizing contemporary frameworks and cloud-native technologies.

• Create and execute real-time data streaming solutions with Apache Kafka.

• Establish integrations between internal systems and external platforms through APIs, messaging queues, and middleware.

• Work alongside AI/ML teams to integrate predictive analytics, NLP, and automation capabilities into applications.

• Create and manage ETL pipelines utilizing CP4D.

• Compose and enhance SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers in Oracle.

• Guarantee high performance, scalability, and reliability for distributed systems.

• Engage in agile methodologies including sprint planning, code evaluations, and CI/CD.

• Oversee and resolve issues in production systems to maintain uptime and responsiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant hands-on development experience.

• Strong expertise in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go.

• Practical experience with microservices architecture and containerization through Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.

• Proficient in ETL development, Oracle performance optimization, and complex SQL.

• Comprehensive understanding of Apache Kafka for event-driven and real-time data processing.

• Experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Preferred experience in the healthcare or supply chain sectors.

• Desired knowledge of API gateways, service mesh, and observability tools.

• Experience with MLOps and deploying AI models in production settings is preferred.

• Certifications in cloud technologies, Kafka, or AI are preferred.

• Exposure to data engineering and big data tools like Spark or Flink is preferred.
