This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Collaborate with the Lead Software Developer to develop and enhance applications.
• Utilize C#/.NET Core, SQL databases, TypeScript with React, and Microsoft Azure.
• Introduce new product features and refine existing functionality through clean, well-documented code.
• Create tests and documentation for the evolving codebase.
• Provide updates to lead developers on progress and escalate issues when necessary.
• Recognize patterns and issues in the existing code for the purpose of refactoring.
• Work across the entire technology stack, encompassing databases, UI, and application integrations.
• Assist in estimating high-level requirements and tasks during planning sessions with senior developers, project managers, and business analysts.
• Collaborate with QA, Support, and internal stakeholders to resolve defects, workflows, and client issues.
• Mentor junior team members and onboard new hires.
• Adhere to DevOps best practices.
• Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends.
• Travel for orientation, conferences, company events, and onsite meetings as required.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Experience in software development using JavaScript, SQL, and an object-oriented programming language, preferably C#.
• Understanding of fundamental application design and architecture principles.
• Familiarity with relational database principles and their practical applications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or alternative server and hosting environments, including deployment processes.
• Capability to articulate decisions made throughout the development process.
• Proficiency in defining test cases and writing code with testing in mind.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize quality code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to both give and receive constructive feedback.
• A strong desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, collaboration, and team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% annually.
