Software Architect – System Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of system architecture, which includes data modeling, state management, component interactions, and system performance under load.

• Make challenging, irreversible design choices early on and clearly articulate the associated trade-offs.

• Design and manage the data layer for new functionalities, encompassing tables, relationships, indexing strategies, and query/load enhancements.

• Create queues, background tasks, and enduring workflows that maintain accuracy and reliability during heavy load and partial failures.

• Participate in architecture decisions, technological direction, and the overall vision for the product.

• Collaborate within an AI-first development environment powered by Claude/Cursor.

• Develop solutions for Hausverwalter.ai, a comprehensive platform tailored for property management companies, featuring Inbox, CRM, Document Management, Telephony, Video Conferencing, Team Chat, and AI Agents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced Software Architect / Full-Stack Developer with a solid foundation in systems design.

• Proficient in designing a database from the ground up, including tables, relationships, and indexes.

• Capacity to analyze database load, query efficiency, and data expansion.

• Knowledge of consistency, throughput, failure modes, and bottlenecks.

• Proven experience in designing queues, background tasks, and long-term workflows.

• Capability to navigate complex design trade-offs.

• Prioritize reliability, scalability, and maintainability as essential considerations.

• Strong English communication skills for effective collaboration within the team.

• Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of assigned tasks.

• Proficiency in German is not a requirement.

• Familiarity with the tech stack is not crucial; AI will generate 100% of the code.
