Software Architect – Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Investigate and resolve intricate issues through direct inquiry, research, proof-of-concept (POC) creation, and by submitting support tickets with software or hardware vendors.

• Establish the design, principles, and standards for backend development.

• Ensure compliance with architectural standards in backend development.

• Encourage component cohesion, independence, and reusability.

• Define and construct adaptable, portable, and maintainable backend and data components.

• Facilitate data-driven decision-making processes.

• Develop reference documentation, standards, guidelines, and principles.

• Ensure appropriate logical data modeling and usage standards.

• Enhance the developer experience throughout the SDLC via automated change management (GMUD) and minimized TTFHW.

• Define and advance backend frameworks, enabling new programming language versions.

• Implement guardrails to prevent non-compliance.

• Establish architectural strategies, styles, and standards for Frontend and Mobile development.

• Ensure adherence to best practices in Frontend and Mobile development.

• Guarantee application efficiency and security through established guardrails.

• Monitor trends in Frontend and Mobile development and assess architectural models.

• Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation.

• Build and oversee proofs of concept and reference architectures.

• Conduct DOJO sessions and mentor teams on best practices for Frontend and Mobile development.

• Regulate the use of third-party libraries, SDKs, and Frontend and Mobile architectures.

• Ensure the advancement and continuity of Frontend and Mobile technologies.

• Deliver development accelerators.

• Set standards to enhance the engineering developer experience.

• Assist in troubleshooting within production environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

• Intermediate proficiency in English is preferred.

• Familiarity with systems architecture, architectural patterns, REST, microservices, messaging, and both relational and non-relational databases is preferred.

• Understanding of development technologies and awareness of current technology trends and standards is preferred.

• Knowledge of multi-cloud environments and cloud solution architecture and design, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, is preferred.

• Experience with DevOps and deployment automation tools, including Jenkins, Git, Chef, Puppet, and Docker, is preferred.

• Experience with systems integration, including APIs and enterprise systems integration, is preferred.

• Knowledge of security practices and the ability to design secure and protected solutions is preferred.

• Experience with both traditional and Agile methodologies is preferred.
