Software Architect – .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the architecture for a .NET-based product line that encompasses multiple systems.

• Define and advance the architecture for .NET Core services and web applications utilizing .NET Core, SQL/Postgres, Cognito, Docker, and AWS.

• Integrate and align front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue with .NET Core backends and external services including Mailgun, Strapi/Node, and various APIs.

• Ensure that scalability, security, and reliability are maintained across distributed systems and asynchronous messaging systems like SQS.

• Spearhead modernization efforts, which include framework upgrades, cloud-native patterns, and modularization.

• Drive CI/CD practices.

• Work in collaboration with product and business stakeholders to transform needs into straightforward, maintainable solutions.

• Discover opportunities for AI/ML and automation.

• Engage with complex and demanding clients, manage expectations, navigate uncertainties, and negotiate technical compromises to achieve practical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software development.

• Extensive experience with .NET Core / C# and web architecture.

• Strong background in distributed systems.

• Proficient in authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, Cognito).

• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.

• Experience with at least one major frontend framework: React, Angular, or Vue.

• Knowledge of AWS.

• Strong proficiency in Git, CI/CD, and automated testing methods.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

• Capability to build trust, manage complex client relationships, and negotiate priorities and scope in high-pressure environments.

• Experience with PHP, Java, or Python in polyglot settings is a plus.

• Familiarity with Node/Strapi, containers, IaC, and observability tools is advantageous.

• Practical experience with AI/ML or data-driven product features is a desirable asset.
