Software Architect, Java/Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance scalable, high-quality digital products for both Web and Mobile platforms.

• Utilize Java and Angular to design and implement scalable applications.

• Incorporate Agentic SDLC and AI techniques to boost engineering productivity and scalability.

• Design and develop APIs using RESTful architecture as well as gRPC.

• Document and define APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI.

• Implement DevOps practices along with CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure software performance, security, scalability, and quality are maintained.

• Foster the professional growth and development of team members.

• Balance technical input with coordination and development efforts among other architects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Software Architect or Senior Fullstack Engineer with extensive knowledge of Java.

• Proven expertise in designing and developing scalable applications utilizing Java and Angular.

• Practical knowledge of Agentic SDLC and the use of AI to enhance engineering productivity and scalability.

• Strong grasp of API design principles, RESTful architecture, gRPC, and best practices in API development.

• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI for API documentation and specifications.

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

• Comprehensive understanding of software performance, security, scalability, and quality standards.

• Proficient in English with advanced communication skills.

• Hands-on leadership approach and a keen interest in promoting the professional growth of team members.

• Ability to balance technical contributions with the coordination and development of other architects.

• Nice to have: Experience with Event-Driven Architectures.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Azure services, especially Azure API Management, Azure Functions, and Event Hub.

• Nice to have: Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure Storage.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Nice to have: Experience working with cloud-native architectures.

• Nice to have: Previous experience leading technical teams or architecture communities.
