Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define and enhance the software architecture for enterprise solutions.

• Create scalable, resilient, secure, and highly available systems.

• Convert business, functional, and non-functional requirements into solid technical solutions.

• Assess architectural patterns and determine the optimal approach for each scenario.

• Establish integrations among services, components, APIs, and systems.

• Engage with microservices, APIs, messaging, events, and both synchronous and asynchronous integrations.

• Offer technical support to development teams throughout the implementation process.

• Ensure adherence to non-functional requirements.

• Work directly with C# and .NET when necessary.

• Analyze trade-offs, technical risks, and architectural options.

• Document decisions, workflows, components, diagrams, and architectural records.

• Create strategies for performance, fault tolerance, and recovery.

• Structure mechanisms for authentication, authorization, and encryption.

• Promote and apply SOLID principles, Clean Code practices, and Design Patterns.

• Maintain technical quality through automated testing and architectural assessments.

• Suggest architectural enhancements and developments that align with business objectives.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, security, and infrastructure teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience as a Software Architect, Solutions Architect, Tech Lead, or in a similar role.

• Recent hands-on development experience with C# and .NET.

• Extensive knowledge of the .NET ecosystem.

• Experience in software architecture and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

• Understanding of APIs and integration patterns.

• Experience with messaging, queues, and asynchronous communication.

• Proficient in SOLID principles, Clean Code, and Design Patterns.

• Experience in automated unit and integration testing.

• Knowledge of horizontal scalability, load balancing, and caching.

• Understanding of resilience and fault-tolerance patterns.

• Familiarity with application security, authentication, authorization, and encryption.

• Proficient with Git.

• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes.

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Ability to document solutions and defend technical decisions.

• Capacity to assess and discuss various architectural alternatives.

• Strong communication skills and a systems-thinking approach.

• Capability to resolve complex technical issues.

• Availability to perform a technical challenge involving architecture and implementation in C#/.NET.

• Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture, and observability.
