Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate in establishing the architecture for new solutions while maintaining existing architectures.

• Provide guidance to developers on the implemented design patterns.

• Assist in selecting appropriate technologies for each development project.

• Facilitate the integration (packaging) and merging of concurrently developed builds.

• Implement agile development methodologies and practices, including Scrum, XP, and Kanban.

• Analyze both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Design and implement integration patterns, design patterns, SOA, and microservices patterns.

• Engage with application architecture, system integration, APIs, microservices, containers, and multi-tenancy.

• Develop and assess Java Web, Java Swing, Batch, and REST/XML API-based solutions.

• Execute testing, automation, continuous integration, TDD, ATDD, refactoring, and continuous delivery.

• Collaborate on application security, cryptography, digital certification, and digital signatures.

• Create high-performance solutions and manage large data volumes.

• Work with financial technologies, ISO 8583 messaging, and peripheral integration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ongoing degree in Information Technology.

• Alternatively, a completed higher education degree with a postgraduate certificate in Information Technology of at least 360 hours.

• Familiarity with agile development principles and practices: Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.

• Understanding of how to analyze functional and non-functional requirements.

• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, design patterns, SOA, and microservices patterns.

• Proficient in relational data modeling and IBM/DB2.

• Insight into three-tier architectures and MVC.

• Experience with system integration: messaging, JMS, WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Message Broker, web services, REST, and EJB 3.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS or later versions, Bootstrap 3 or later, HTML5, ECMAScript 5/6 or later, and CSS3.

• Understanding of UX, usability, responsive interfaces, and PWA.

• Acquainted with CI, TDD, ATDD, specification by example, refactoring, and continuous delivery.

• Experienced in test automation with JUnit 3+, Selenium WebDriver 2.4+, Protractor, and JMeter 2+.

• Knowledgeable in Java Web: JEE 6+, JSE 6+, JPA 2, Apache Velocity, and Spring.

• Familiar with CMT and BMT.

• Experience with static analysis using SonarQube.

• Proficient in SQL and source code version control.

• Familiar with the Eclipse IDE.

• Basic knowledge of Linux and COBOL/CICS.

• Knowledge of application security: OWASP, JAAS, LDAP, RACF, and SSO.

• Experience with high-performance systems handling large volumes of data.

• Knowledge of public and private cloud technologies.

• Experience with REST APIs, XML, ISO 8583 routing, J/XFS financial technologies, cryptography, digital certification, and digital signatures.

• Knowledge of Java Swing, API design, microservices, containers, multi-tenant applications, and Batch processing in Java.
