Software Architect – AI, Agentic Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead the architectural design and development of a platform centered around AI-driven coding.

• Create systems that facilitate real-time collaboration between AI agents and developers.

• Develop and deploy agentic systems capable of task planning, code generation, testing, and application deployment.

• Integrate large language models, particularly Claude, into production processes.

• Design layers for tool utilization/function calling and orchestration of agents.

• Implement management for long contexts and multi-step reasoning workflows.

• Establish architecture for scalable and distributed AI systems on AWS.

• Assess .NET and alternative platforms to choose the most suitable tools for various challenges.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate architecture into production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Software Architect or in a Staff+ Engineer role.

• Demonstrated expertise in building or designing AI/agentic systems.

• Profound knowledge of LLM integrations, particularly Claude or similar models.

• In-depth understanding of function calling and tool-use methodologies.

• Comprehensive grasp of agent orchestration and reasoning processes.

• Strong knowledge of prompt engineering and context management techniques.

• Practical experience with AWS and complex cloud-native designs.

• Robust background in distributed systems and the design of scalable platforms.

• Experience working with various technology stacks; foundational knowledge in .NET, with a willingness to explore other ecosystems.

• Capability to make impactful architectural choices in rapidly changing environments.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to steer technical direction.

• Proficient in English at the C1 level, both written and spoken.

• Preferred: experience in developing platforms for developers or coding tools.

• Preferred: familiarity with Replit, Cursor, or AI-enhanced IDEs.

• Preferred: experience with multi-agent systems or orchestration frameworks.

• Preferred: background in DevOps automation or AI-enhanced CI/CD pipelines.

• Preferred: exposure to product-led engineering settings.
