Senior Data Developer – AI Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to comprehend the context, challenges, and fundamental needs.

• Convert intricate requirements into comprehensive technical specifications for AI and analytics platforms.

• Take full ownership of data products from ingestion and modeling to transformation, validation, final delivery, and monitoring.

• Establish validation processes, automate testing, and conduct quality checks.

• Guarantee data accuracy, integrity, and alignment with business metrics and KPIs.

• Design and implement data transformation layers along with consistent business rules.

• Provide datasets for dashboards and AI applications.

• Collaborate with AI teams on structured data, data dictionaries, and models.

• Develop and maintain ingestion pipelines from various sources using SQL and Python.

• Ensure the performance and scalability of solutions.

• Identify opportunities for improvement and propose innovative solutions.

• Deliver reliable data solutions quickly while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Facilitate alignments, present solution proposals, and document modeling and architectural decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a senior-level Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering position.

• Advanced skills in SQL and Python for data analysis, transformation, and validation.

• Extensive experience in data modeling and data warehouse design.

• Practical experience with BigQuery or another cloud-based data warehouse platform.

• Ability to comprehend complex business logic and validate results from a business viewpoint.

• Strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach.

• Experience in defining and preparing data requirements for AI or machine learning applications.

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

• Proven track record of delivering high-impact projects swiftly and with a focus on quality.

• Nice to have: experience with dbt.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Airbyte or Airflow.

• Nice to have: understanding of automated testing best practices and CI/CD for data pipelines.
