SOC/NOC Security & Network Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage and oversee SOC/NOC boards effectively.

• Conduct investigations on SIEM, EDR, and network alerts.

• Identify and contain security incidents promptly.

• Administer patches and firmware through ConnectWise and network consoles.

• Ensure timely updates for servers, workstations, firewalls, and switches.

• Develop, refine, and enhance automated alerting rules across cloud and RMM environments.

• Maintain high detection accuracy, minimize alert noise, and ensure SLA compliance.

• Perform audits of client environments in accordance with SOC 2, HIPAA, and NIST frameworks.

• Collaborate with the CISO and Compliance leadership to produce security documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a SOC, NOC, or multi-tenant MSP/MSSP setting.

• In-depth understanding of incident response, firewalls, and network lifecycle management.

• Responsibility for managing ticket queues and ensuring timely responses.

• Skills in root-cause analysis, log analysis, continuous process improvement, and standard operating procedures.

• Familiarity with ConnectWise, EDR/SIEM tools, M365/Azure, Google Workspace, and network management consoles.

• A dedicated, distraction-free home office environment.
