Social Worker – Head of School Support Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Enhance the capabilities of the school support staff team, which includes staff recruitment and case assignments.

• Take on professional responsibilities while ensuring ongoing quality assurance of the educational services delivered.

• Offer appreciative, goal-focused guidance and leadership to a team of up to 44 staff members.

• Participate in planning, development, and conceptual initiatives.

• Engage in networking activities and maintain relationships with school principals, educators, parents, and funding organizations.

• Collaborate at the management level with managing directors and site managers operating on a national scale.

• Oversee the professional, content-related, and business management aspects of team leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A successfully completed degree in education or a related field, such as social pedagogy, social work, or social management (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent diploma), or a comparable qualification.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with disabilities.

• Strong diplomatic communication skills across various professional levels.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

• Familiarity with Books VIII and IX of the German Social Code (SGB VIII and SGB IX).

• A charismatic personality combined with a persuasive communication style.

• Ability to inspire and motivate others.

• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to make a significant impact.
