This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, edit, produce, and publish organic content for social media platforms.
• Formulate social media strategies to influence public narratives, engage target audiences, and drive persuasion, interaction, and activation.
• Oversee social media calendars and content across all channels to meet organizational objectives, including engagement, follower growth, and email sign-ups.
• Take charge of internal communications related to social media reporting, strategy, and execution.
• Lead and manage initiatives for paid social advertising.
• Supervise 1–2 interns as necessary.
• Gather and analyze social media metrics to inform strategic decisions.
• Manage social media campaigns and strategies from inception to completion.
• Conduct proofreading and quality assurance checks to guarantee error-free posts.
• Organize brainstorming sessions, develop task lists, finalize content, and ensure timely launch of deliverables.
• Establish relationships with partners and content creators.
• Moderate comments across social media platforms.
• Capture and produce content in various settings, including interviews, events, and real-time moments.
• Collaborate with the VP of Advocacy and Communications, CEO, and team members to shape public narratives concerning corruption and accountability while expanding social audiences.
• Must reside within the United States.
• Strong preference for individuals based in or willing to travel regularly to the Washington, DC, area.
• Proficient storytelling abilities for intricate narratives on accountability and corruption.
• Genuine passion for the mission and eagerness to learn about the subject matter.
• Strategic mindset focused on advancing narratives and the organization’s mission.
• Capability to transform leadership voices, concepts, and messaging into engaging content while contributing original creative ideas.
• Ability to communicate shared values across different ideological perspectives; this role is not partisan in nature.
• Strong collaboration skills across diverse teams.
• High initiative and aptitude for developing and executing innovative ideas.
• Comfort with message testing, A/B testing, content iteration, and translating research or audience insights into published content.
• Up-to-date understanding of social media and content creation trends, including AI advancements.
• Proven success in growing social media programs and producing content from start to finish, including campaign analysis and measurable outcomes.
• Experience in managing paid social media campaigns.
• Background in creating, editing, and producing videos for social media platforms.
• Highly organized with experience in managing and leading multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong attention to detail, including accuracy, fact-checking, spelling, and grammar.
• Excellent design and copywriting capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and stay organized.
• A plus: familiarity with corruption, accountability, or technology domains.
• A plus: experience collaborating with creatives, artists, or influencers, or experience as a content creator.
• A plus: proficiency in additional languages.
• Ability to operate a computer and utilize a cell phone.
