This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead the organization’s social media initiatives and consistently enhance and refine the social media strategy.
• Develop, create, and implement a social media strategy that conveys a cohesive brand voice and positions the company as a leader in the industry.
• Oversee daily operations, manage both organic and paid social campaigns, handle media budgets, and maintain relationships with external agencies.
• Act as the community manager for official social media channels, responding to comments and inquiries.
• Educate and train staff to improve their skills as social media advocates and brand ambassadors.
• Execute and implement an editorial calendar and publish digital content that supports social media channels and digital marketing initiatives.
• Conduct social listening and monitor discussions related to the company, its brands, competitors, and the industry.
• Share insights gained from social media monitoring with relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate across functions to identify company news suitable for social media engagement and train internal teams to act as digital brand advocates.
• Serve as the in-house social media expert, monitoring B2B social media strategies, tools, trends, and applications.
• Collaborate with creative and IT teams to ensure social media tools are current and effective.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs), set success metrics, and generate regular reports to assess strategy, campaign, and channel effectiveness.
• A Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing and social media is preferred.
• Strong and proven knowledge of utilizing Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn for brand promotion.
• Demonstrated experience with social media monitoring, listening, and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with creating and executing engaging content tailored for digital platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite is mandatory.
• Capability to manage information from various sources and provide proactive, timely solutions.
