Social Media Content Creator, Japanese

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Asia team and partners from Fossil Free Japan to create captivating content in both Japanese and English for various social media platforms.

• Generate Japanese-language social media posts for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Facebook, which includes crafting written content and captions for infographics, images, and occasional short videos.

• Enhance and tailor content originating from partner organizations.

• Hold regular meetings with Asia Team Campaigners to plan upcoming content.

• Assist in managing the Fossil Free Japan content calendar.

• Support website upkeep by uploading content in both Japanese and English.

• Evaluate Japanese digital content translations for precision, tone, and cultural relevance.

• Engage actively in pertinent team and coalition meetings.

• Address administrative requests and ensure invoices are submitted by the designated deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional or highly proficient written and spoken Japanese, along with good English language abilities.

• Residing within the UTC+07:00 to UTC+11:00 time zone (Japan Standard Time ± 2 hours).

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Capability to complete projects within set timelines.

• Alignment with the values of OCI.

• Experience in executing Japanese social media campaigns is a plus.

• Skills in videography, video editing, or graphic design are advantageous but not mandatory.
