This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the strategic planning, publishing, and daily management of LivaNova's corporate social media channels.
• Establish specific strategies for each channel, including the optimal platform mix, content strategy, and audience targeting.
• Monitor social engagement and conversations, manage interactions within the community, and identify any reputational or compliance risks for escalation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, adapt, and enhance content across various channels, including opportunities for paid support.
• Maintain a cohesive organizational content calendar that includes news, announcements, executive content, campaigns, and social media initiatives.
• Align social media content with company announcements, press activities, and external communication priorities.
• Integrate Communications, Marketing, Innovation, and other stakeholders in content planning and social media strategy.
• Facilitate cross-functional planning meetings and ensure the content calendar remains up-to-date.
• Assist with social content for executives, subject-matter experts, and clinical leaders, including LinkedIn posts and thought leadership opportunities.
• Monitor and report on social media performance metrics, such as engagement, reach, follower growth, and Share of Voice.
• Convert performance data into actionable recommendations.
• Implement accessible and inclusive social media practices, including clear writing, captions, alt-text guidance, and appropriate formatting for platforms.
• Manage relationships and contracts with external vendors supporting social media activities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging best practices in healthcare and medtech social media.
• Provide a strategic perspective on how social content contributes to LivaNova's brand reputation while remaining actively involved in execution.
• 4–7+ years of experience in managing enterprise or organizational social media accounts.
• Proven ability to set direction for social channels, with a strong track record on LinkedIn and other major platforms.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex clinical or scientific information into clear and engaging content for varied audiences.
• Experience in managing or contributing to a cross-functional content calendar, ideally in collaboration with communications, PR, or external affairs.
• Comfortable working within a regulated industry; familiarity with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review processes, claims discipline, adverse event awareness, and content accuracy expectations, or the ability to quickly learn these processes.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Proficient in social media management, listening, and analytics tools.
• Capable of collaborating across functions and levels with clinicians, executives, and marketing teams.
• Preferred: experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare communications.
• Preferred: background working alongside or within an external or corporate communications function.
• Preferred: experience supporting thought leadership, expert content, or employee advocacy initiatives.
• Preferred: familiarity with investor relations or public affairs content.
