This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop engaging content regarding projects, events, and organizational themes for LinkedIn and various digital platforms.
• Oversee editorial strategy, manage the content calendar, and supervise publication processes.
• Keep the website updated and publish new content regularly.
• Offer communication assistance for roundtables, events, and webinars.
• Design simple graphics along with creating images, graphics, and presentation materials.
• Engage with the community and communicate with interested parties.
• Track outreach and key performance metrics.
• Share DEHIB’s narratives, highlight its social contributions, and cultivate an engaged community.
• Enhance DEHIB’s visibility and outreach, draw in new volunteers, and promote projects, events, and partnerships.
• Ensure the professional and consistent application of communication channels.
• Passion for social media, marketing, and communications.
• Prior hands-on experience in content creation, social media, or marketing is preferred.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of Canva, Microsoft 365, and WordPress is advantageous but not essential.
• Solid understanding of target audiences, current trends, and digital communication strategies.
• Excellent written communication skills in both German and English.
• Availability on short notice for ongoing posts and community engagement is preferred.
• Particularly well-suited for students pursuing degrees in marketing, communications, or media management, as well as entry-level candidates.
• Substantial creative autonomy in managing social media, website content, and community initiatives.
• Direct impact on DEHIB’s visibility, reach, and overall profile.
• Close collaboration with the Communications team, various departments, the Executive Board, and volunteers.
