Social Impact Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive management of GitLab for Nonprofits and GitLab for Education.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with nonprofit organizations, universities, and program participants.

• Supervise daily operations for both initiatives, optimizing processes to enhance operational efficiency.

• Drive internal program communications, handle applicant inquiries, and maintain collaborations with verification partners.

• Create methods to assess, monitor, and report on progress towards program objectives and GitLab's overall social impact aims.

• Support nonprofit and university community members with product implementation and connect applicants to suitable support services.

• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to expand program membership and boost renewal rates.

• Develop advocacy materials and work together on case studies, webinars, blog articles, and highlights.

• Monitor industry trends, perform benchmarking, and set best practices for social impact and community initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing corporate social responsibility, social impact, community advocacy, or similar programs.

• Background in administering in-kind donation initiatives.

• A data-driven and analytical mindset for developing community programs.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for conveying complex ideas in an engaging and clear manner.

• Exceptional organizational skills, creative problem-solving capabilities, and resourcefulness, along with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience in initiating and leading projects through collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Technical proficiency, including the ability to navigate GitLab and address technical inquiries.

• Familiarity with Salesforce.
