SOC Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic guidance for cyber defense and monitoring operations.

• Manage SOC functions, incident management frameworks, and service delivery processes.

• Act as the primary engagement point with Department of State leadership regarding cyber response capabilities.

• Ensure that resources align with mission requirements for monitoring, response, threat hunting, and intelligence.

• Oversee the performance monitoring of the SOC.

• Supervise incident response procedures.

• Direct threat intelligence operations.

• Manage daily reporting, dashboards, and executive summaries.

• Oversee the tuning of SIEM and the optimization of monitoring activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in SOC or Cyber Operations.

• A CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, or equivalent certification is mandatory.

• Proficiency in SIEM administration, log analysis, and threat detection.

• A minimum of Secret security clearance is required.

• Capability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in any discipline.

• A degree in a technical field is preferred.
