SOC Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide organizational and technical leadership for the Security Operations Center (SOC)

• Ensure operations are stable, efficient, and seamless

• Coordinate and prioritize tasks within the team

• Manage shift and resource planning for both 1st- and 2nd-level operations

• Identify potential capacity bottlenecks at an early stage

• Act as the central point of contact for internal departments

• Facilitate cross-functional communication and escalations

• Support the professional and technical growth of team members

• Continuously enhance SOC processes, standards, and best practices

• Monitor the current threat landscape and refine operational approaches and security strategies

• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders

• Provide guidance on technical matters, and assist with presales and architectural activities in the security domain

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in security operations, preferably as a SOC Manager, Senior SOC Analyst, or in a similar role

• Proven experience in leading and developing team members

• Proficient in business-level English

• Strong familiarity with the Microsoft security stack, especially Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, and Microsoft 365 Security

• Experience in analyzing security events and managing KPIs and SLAs

• Knowledge of security automation, security engineering, and SIEM and SOAR technologies

• Analytical, structured, and solution-focused approach to work
