This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Achieve and manage an individual revenue target by owning a portfolio of SMB clients and prospects from start to finish.
• Oversee, mentor, and develop a team of SMB Account Executives through regular one-on-ones, pipeline evaluations, call and deal coaching, and performance assessments.
• Take charge of the inbound process: ensuring timely responses, establishing qualification standards, directing routing, and converting leads to closed-won status.
• Create repeatable sales strategies, define qualification criteria, develop messaging, and establish processes for a high-velocity team.
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing on self-service tools, understanding SMB buyer requirements, and determining packaging and pricing.
• Manage the complete proposal process, from initial intake through the design of research methodologies and pricing structures.
• Ensure precise forecasting, maintain pipeline hygiene, and generate reports in Salesforce.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new representatives as the team grows.
• Serve as the primary coordinator for the SMB account base, utilizing cross-functional relationships to deliver NewtonX capabilities to clients.
• Drive the achievement of individual and team targets, maintain a predictable pipeline, enhance inbound conversion rates, expedite representative ramp-up, promote the use of repeatable playbooks, encourage self-service tool adoption, and support team expansion.
• 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or client-facing roles, with a preference for experience selling to the SMB segment.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in market research, insights, or data services.
• Experience in management or team leadership, including formal people management, pod leadership, or a prior player-coach position.
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to operate efficiently in a high-velocity and high-volume environment while maintaining quality standards.
• A methodical sales process, strong CRM skills, and accuracy in forecasting are essential.
• Demonstrated executive presence and business savvy, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Strong sense of ownership to independently produce high-quality deliverables.
• A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn and receive coaching.
• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
