This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Define and execute new installations for the Smart Building Platform.
• Review documentation of mechanical systems to pinpoint monitoring points that enhance energy efficiency, maintenance, or equipment reliability.
• Integrate identified monitoring points into the Smart Building Platform.
• Analyze client mechanical system documentation and provide insights using SkySpark and SBP analytics.
• Combine building management/automation systems, energy management systems, and other systems to monitor and control equipment and spaces.
• Establish connections with remote systems in collaboration with vendors, clients, site facility teams, networking, and information security teams.
• Evaluate output from the Smart Building Platform and SkySpark analytics.
• Collaborate with site engineering and maintenance teams to address the root causes of identified anomalies.
• Guarantee the quality of data and ensure a continuous flow from monitored systems and points.
• Troubleshoot connection issues for remote systems with on-site resources and colleagues.
• Develop, document, and review new analytics for the Smart Building Platform for deployment across client sites.
• Leverage artificial intelligence to enhance the deliverables of the Smart Building Platform.
• Analyze data related to facilities, maintenance, mechanical systems, HVAC, and reliability to identify best practices.
• Conduct energy analysis at the building, meter, and equipment levels to calculate energy savings and ROI.
• Examine equipment operations and sequences, suggesting improved control strategies.
• Communicate the results of analyses to maintenance technicians, building automation experts, facility managers, and senior leadership.
• Assist site engineering teams in troubleshooting equipment failures.
• Report findings through standardized SBP and customized reports.
• Train clients on how to review SBP analytics and conduct analyses.
• Support clients in developing customized SBP dashboards.
• Create case studies and reports and perform system demonstrations for business development purposes.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and service expansion.
• Collaborate with JLL groups to refine and develop products and services.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar); equivalent professional experience will be considered as a substitute for the preferred degree.
• Over 3 years of practical experience with SkySpark Analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret SkySpark data, extract actionable insights, and generate Work Orders that lead to measurable energy savings.
• Extensive experience with other analytical systems may be taken into account.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in facilities energy management.
• Understanding of sustainability and energy principles as they apply to the built environment.
• Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building automation systems, as well as commissioning within commercial offices and data centers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Business English.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Effective presentation skills.
• Knowledge of smart building technologies.
• Experience with Fault Detection and Diagnostics systems.
• Knowledge in energy management practices.
• Understanding of reliability engineering principles.
• Project management knowledge.
• Certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Professional Engineer (PE), or Niagara Certification (or similar).
• Familiarity with the Project Haystack tagging convention.
• Knowledge of SkySpark’s proprietary coding language, Axon.
• Experience in Axon Query Development and coding.
• ASHRAE knowledge is highly desirable.
