This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +2 more states.
• Promote and sell storage products and solutions within the designated territory, industry, or client accounts.
• Enhance existing opportunities while actively pursuing new business prospects.
• Create strategic pursuit plans and manage the storage sales pipeline effectively.
• Assist in the development of proposals, engage in negotiations, and finalize deals.
• Foster sales readiness and impart storage knowledge to minimize the learning curve for clients.
• Provide technical expertise to Account Managers and participate in complex client interactions.
• Coordinate pipeline management activities in collaboration with account managers, Presales, channel partners, and stakeholders.
• Maintain internal sales tools, sales pipeline, and account strategies.
• Work collaboratively with HPE teams for comprehensive account planning and business growth.
• Evaluate the feasibility of solutions and qualify opportunities accordingly.
• Negotiate advantageous deals to expand HPE's storage presence and revenue.
• Identify, negotiate, and finalize agreements on Storage portfolio offerings.
• Develop consultative relationships to grasp client business requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external experts to anticipate customer needs and facilitate solution creation.
• Build channel partnerships, enable key technologies, and co-sell to end users.
• Organize Storage marketing initiatives and sustain campaign momentum.
• Serve as a reliable storage solutions consultant for assigned accounts and regions.
• Communicate HPE's strategy and offerings to partners and stakeholders to identify opportunities and attract new clients.
• Utilize references to simplify complex technologies for customers.
• Generate interest among customers, analyze buying patterns, and convey ROI and TCO advantages.
• Assist in deal closure with account managers, channel partners, and other internal stakeholders.
• A University or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in enterprise technology field sales.
• Previous experience selling to State & Local Government (SLED) clients is highly preferred.
• Background in selling storage, data center infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise hardware/software is preferred.
• Proven track record of building pipeline and driving new business opportunities.
• Must reside in Massachusetts or the Northeast territory (Maine or New Hampshire).
• Willingness to travel approximately 40–50% within the assigned territory.
• Demonstrated success in selling enterprise storage, data center, cloud infrastructure, or related technology solutions.
• Familiarity with public sector procurement and sales cycles is essential.
• Proven capability to build pipeline, prospect for new accounts, and grow existing client relationships.
• Strong consultative selling abilities with both technical and business stakeholders, including executive decision makers.
• Experience collaborating with channel partners is necessary.
• Working knowledge of HPE, competitors, and emerging infrastructure technologies.
• Skills in territory planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
