Site Superintendent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Support the Project Manager in ensuring that projects meet both company and customer standards.

• Supervise field activities for Engineered Solutions contracting projects.

• Coordinate and manage job site logistics, daily operations, customer interactions, and subcontractor progress.

• Direct and organize onsite construction teams to achieve project milestones and maintain quality standards.

• Provide installation guidance and training, including reviewing playbooks, sharing pictures, and setting quality expectations.

• Address customer concerns, implement corrective actions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

• Review project drawings, scope, schedules, and critical milestones; offer feedback and identify potential risks.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and guide necessary corrective measures.

• Identify, rectify, and document installation deficiencies.

• Uphold onsite safety standards by executing the site safety plan.

• Communicate project status, important discussions, onsite decisions, and punch list items through daily logs.

• Conduct equipment startup and commissioning for new projects.

• Oversee third-party validation contractors.

• Manage selected projects, which includes financial oversight, administration, implementation, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree or Accredited Apprenticeship in Engineering Technology such as Refrigeration, HVAC, or Electrical, along with 5 years of experience in the construction industry OR a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in commercial/industrial refrigeration.

• Skilled in reading plans and specifications.

• Familiar with project schedules, budgets, and safety protocols.

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Projects) and SharePoint.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
