Site Selection Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary liaison for site selection initiatives, encompassing site identification and feasibility analysis.

• Foster and sustain positive, productive relationships with essential clinical research sites.

• Locate investigators and research sites via literature reviews and online searches.

• Gather data to outline the ideal profiles of investigators for studies.

• Identify and suggest potential investigators for various studies.

• Develop interest survey assessments.

• Create and manage the distribution of study-specific feasibility questionnaires.

• Review completed feasibility questionnaires and propose sites for qualification visits.

• Coordinate the allocation of CRA resources for site qualification visits.

• Evaluate summaries from site qualification visits.

• Recommend sites for study involvement in consultation with the Sponsor and project team.

• Monitor site selection activities within the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS).

• Participate in internal and external project team meetings as necessary.

• Detect site performance quality issues through project meetings, escalated communications, and quality assurance audit findings.

• Engage in departmental projects led by the site selection and contracting group or other teams.

• Assist the Manager of Site Selection in understanding project objectives, scope, and requirements while delivering high-quality outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or a related field.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus.

• At least 3 years of experience in clinical research within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO sectors.

• Substantial and relevant experience in site selection, study start-up activities, site budget/contract negotiation, and/or collaboration with sites or in a site setting.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience in dermatological clinical research is advantageous.

• Quick learner with strong adaptability and versatility.

• Capability to thrive in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues, sponsors, and sites.

• Highly organized, able to manage competing priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.

• Flexible mindset, positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities.

• Good understanding of good clinical practices and relevant Health Canada and FDA regulations/guidelines.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, or Portugal.
