Site Safety Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Execute a variety of assignments within the department and field

• Engage in field safety inspections

• Support team members with their designated tasks

• Ensure the safety and health of personnel working on job sites

• Provide suggestions for corrective actions

• Maintain and update records, files, and procedures as instructed

• Take part in job-related activities as designated

• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned

• Travel to project locations in accordance with Gray’s travel policy

• Work overtime when necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Prior internship experience in safety is advantageous

• Understanding of construction safety practices and OSHA standards

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, and email

• Dynamic, self-driven individual who thrives in a team setting and is passionate about collaboration and professional growth

• Willingness to travel to project sites across the United States, and occasionally internationally

• The selected candidate may reside anywhere in the USA

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship or work status authorization

• Capable of meeting physical requirements, including frequently lifting/moving up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs
