Site Reliability Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Implement and sustain the observability platform along with internal tools.

• Collaborate with various teams to guarantee the reliability, scalability, and usability of products and services.

• Mentor engineers and developers to enhance their confidence in service performance.

• Work alongside support, operations, and engineering teams to investigate and resolve complex issues.

• Enhance monitoring and analysis systems for swift error detection and remediation, including automated solutions.

• Engage in on-call rotations and oversee the restoration and repair of service-affecting incidents.

• Ensure system reliability, monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation.

• Create advanced tools utilizing Kubernetes, Kafka, and ClickHouse.

• Collaborate with AWS, Azure, and Linode to foster continuous enhancements and optimize performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Capability to design and execute a comprehensive monitoring and observability strategy for complex software products.

• Experience with ArgoCD for GitOps-based deployments and Kubernetes application delivery workflows.

• Proficiency in creating and managing CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, including building, testing, and deploying pipelines.

• Experience in defining and implementing frameworks and tools.

• Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and third-party cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Linode.

• Familiarity with Linux-based infrastructure and scripting in Bash/Python.

• Proficient in troubleshooting across network, system, application, and database layers, including network protocols, Linux OS, and SQL/KQL.
