This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee clinic/site onboarding initiatives for an eReferral and eOrder platform.
• Collaborate with Site Facilitators, Intake Coordinators, clinicians, healthcare organizations, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Spearhead site activations and implementation efforts.
• Serve as the primary liaison for designated sites.
• Achieve objectives within defined scope, timeline, and budget.
• Identify, evaluate, monitor, and mitigate project risks.
• Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring effective communication among project resources.
• Record project findings, recommendations, decisions, and action items.
• Provide consistent project status updates to leadership and pertinent committees.
• Develop and uphold project plans, reports, records, and other documentation.
• Manage changes in project scope and secure necessary approvals.
• Track project finances, resource utilization, issues, and risks.
• Escalate significant concerns and collaborate with stakeholders to formulate solutions.
• Adhere to established PMO project management protocols and standards.
• Handle multiple delivery projects while adjusting to shifting priorities.
• Assist with other delivery projects across the portfolio, including site deployments, activations, and new service delivery initiatives.
• Perform additional related duties as needed.
• Education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
• Background in delivering digital solutions to healthcare sites.
• Strong project management and consultation/facilitation experience with various stakeholder groups, including vendors.
• Extensive experience in communicating with clinical and non-clinical personnel, senior leadership, and other stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Robust project management capabilities with experience managing multiple Agile projects concurrently.
• Proven leadership and project delivery experience.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, proactive, and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of technology integration within a provincial healthcare system.
• Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Capable of adapting to evolving project requirements and priorities.
• PMP designation is preferred.
• Experience working within BC Health Authorities is considered advantageous.
• Knowledge of OceanMD and EMR/CIS systems is regarded as a significant asset.
• Consultant must reside in Canada.
• Work must be conducted in Pacific Time (PT).
• Any work performed outside of Canada requires prior approval.
• Anticipated workload may be full-time, though actual hours depend on project demands and available funding.
• Consultant is responsible for supplying their own equipment/tools for remote work.
• PHSA provides necessary software, applications, and remote-work access.
• Federal and provincial holidays are recognized.
