This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Address all aspects related to quality and the environment within the project.
• Document non-conformances and initiate necessary corrective actions.
• Resolve outstanding defects in accordance with the established program.
• Create Inspection Test Reports and checklists that align with contract requirements.
• Assist in planning the utilization of materials, resources, components, systems, and construction methods.
• Support the Project Engineer with construction planning documents and oversee their implementation.
• Maintain the project timeline by tracking progress and coordinating activities.
• Aid in the preparation of project status reports and change orders.
• Evaluate daily progress and develop work plans for daily cost planning meetings.
• Ensure that contract requirements are fulfilled at the work crew level.
• Coordinate resource allocation and promote effective teamwork.
• Monitor and accurately document subcontractor resources on a daily basis.
• Prepare cost and resource plans for daily cost planning meetings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent tertiary education.
• Experience in constructing outdoor air-insulated substations and substations rated at 220kV or higher.
• Preferred experience with Tier 1 Contractors on large-scale projects.
• Ideally 1 to 3 years of post-graduate experience in a construction or engineering setting.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Capability to establish and oversee comprehensive delivery work plans.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in planning and organizing work schedules.
• Familiarity with HS&E requirements and their implementation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work on a roster basis, with 14 days onsite followed by 7 days off, in the Central West Orana Region.
• Camp-style accommodation provided for the 14 days onsite and 7 days off site.
• Roster-based bus-in, bus-out arrangement.
